Futures in Criminal Justice Management Name Institutional affiliation Futures in Criminal Justice Management Courts systems have for many instances blamed for ineffectiveness and inefficiencies in delivering justice (Craig Ruhl, 2014). There are many factors that have contributed to such assertions. Factors such as costs, time taken on hearings and consequent judgment, different structure in different jurisdictions, and many others are attributed to the inefficiencies and ineffectiveness of the court system (Craig Ruhl, 2014). Many attempts have been made in the past and others are being proposed for the future in order to try and address such short comings. This essay will address the futures in the criminal justice management and how certain issues may impact on the courts complete their function. Implementation of Specialized or Alternative Courts The aspect of having specialized or alternative courts arose from judges and prosecutors view that therapeutic approach was appropriate in addressing criminal behaviors in offenders. The judges and prosecutors felt that therapeutic approach was necessary in preventing offenders from going back to their criminal behaviors or re-offending and also increase the safety of the community (Curry Miller, 2015).
