He gave him a smart brain that would enable him to create solutions to problems. According to Genesis, God blessed them and said to them. Be fruitful and increase in number fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground (Genesis 128). Technology is a result of Gods blessing to man. When used the right way, technology can be a tool to bring man closer to God. Computer hardware, software and networks have now become the backbone of spreading the gospel and ministering within churches and beyond. Personal biblical worldview of technology Man has a responsibility to continue the creation process, from where God had left. God is commanding man to subdue the earth. The word subdue means to conquer, or to bring something down to its knees. On the surface of the earth, God placed minerals such as silicon, which are used to manufacture semiconductors that are used to build
