There are times when I do like to unplug and not worry about anything. I am actually pretty good at putting my phone in another room, not checking email, texts or social media. I only leave the ringer turned on so I can hear my phone ring since we no longer have a house phone. The primary piece of technology I use is my personal computer. My position as a Systems Analyst requires that I work on my computer/laptop eight plus hours per day. My job in IT could not be done without a technology. I balance my day between different programs, so I don't spend all day in email, text, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SQL etc. It varies depending on what I am working on at the time. I don't think I could live without my personal computer. I use it for almost everything. I like a full size keyboard for typing and a larger monitor. It gives me access to email, all of the
