The United States has faced various disasters including the 9/11 terror attack, Hurricane Katrina, the Deepwater Horizon oil spill and the 1989 and the 2016 Great Smoky Mountains wildfires. The local agency invites other agency to boost its capacity and to provide special information and skills.
