My goal in this class is to better understand the Humanities, and see where they better fit in my personal and professional life.both agree with Nicholas Kristof's article on Starving for Wisdom . He makes points that I agree with. He says students take more humanities classes and creates a more valuable employee in life. In my professional life I believe this rings true. I work with a lot of different customers throughout the world, that all have very different cultures. Knowing how to approach each can calculate to valuable outcomes. I believe the creative process can be a very useful tool in my professional and personal life. Especially when you're forced to think outside of the box. I also believe it will help in the long run for communication in certain social situations.
