I agree with you that the men of the community who hold fast to the Covenant are those Jewish men and women who actively chose to resist the men of injustice. I also agree that the covenant refers to the multitude of the men of the Community. Finally, it is true that there are a lot of similarities between the community and the extremist Jews. It is true that the men of the Community were the people who lead a righteous life, while the men of injustice were people who did not accept this covenant with God and therefore were considered outsides or evil. It is also true that the rituals of re-affirmation to the Jewish faith are what put the Jews apart from other religions such as Christianity. Regards!
