Purpose of the Web SiteSince its establishment in 1892, The National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws has drafted over 200 uniform laws based on the subject area Law. The Association is deemed as been one nonprofit incorporated organization, made up of the Commonwealth members of Puerto Rico, the United States, the Virgin Islands as well as the state commissioners who are usually selected from each state. The National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws website has been designed in a way that it serves as a platform where by the citizens of a state can log on to the Association’s portfolio, review and study how the law of states impacts on the nation( McCabe 1999).
