The purpose of this analysis is to answer several relevant questions. Questions relate to the average number of production employees, average value added by a manufacturer, variance between cost of materials and end of year inventory and believe that the average number of production workers per industry group is less than 150,000. Population in the StudyThe sample data is from the US National Association of Manufacturers database. The datasets contain data from 20 industries and 140 subindustries in the US for the following variables Number of Employees, Number of Production Workers, Value Added by Manufacture, Cost of Materials, End-of-Year Inventories, and Industry Group.
