The data model itself is a depiction of the real world data structures and the actual model helps us to understand the real-world environment of Huffman Trucking. “When database designers go about selecting or determining the entities, attributes, and relationships that will be used to build a data model, they might start by gaining a thorough understanding of what types of data exist in an organization, how the data are used, and in what time frames they are used” (Coronel, Morris, & Rob, 2013, “Chapter 2, Data Models”) .
