The 2012 presidential general election was the 57 presidential general elections and was, held on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 (Steffensmeier & Steven et al., 2013). The campaign strategies for 2004 focused on capitalizing on the existing supporters of President Bush and Republication party to cast their votes as opposed to winning new voters. The 2012 presidential general campaign strategies on the other hand, focused on attacking Mitt Romney and portrayed him as a heartless leader, who willingly fires people as well as disconnected from the average Americans. The campaign strategy portrayed Barack Obama as a pillar
