The visit began with a thorough history and targeted physical examination. She revealed to us that the day before her symptoms began, she hadvisited a friend in the hospital and shortly after developed the sore throat followed by headaches, runny nose, and watery eyes. Upon physical examination she was noted to have redness in the throat, nasal drainage, and on palpation she was noted to have swollen lymph nodes. These findings were followed up
