SPT-320 6-4 Short PaperSouthern New Hampshire University 03:37:46 GMT -05:00Former Las Vegas Raiders coach Jon Gruden is suing the NFL and commissioner Roger Goodell in the wake of his private emails being leaked amid an investigation into the Washington Football Team. The issue is that Gruden feels like the NFL selectively leaked his private emails to major outlets in order to harm his reputation and force him out of his job. Gruden feels that it was unfair that out of 650,000 emails collected by the NFL investigators his were the only ones made public. Gruden's messages were uncovered from a set of 650,000emails that were part of the NFL's investigation into claims of workplace misconduct against the Washington Football Team. They were sent by Gruden to then-Washington president Bruce Allen and others. Gruden is seeking unspecified damages on seven claims as well as punitive awards and attorneys' fees. Gruden has lost a sponsorship deal with Skechers and was pulled from appearing in the Madden NFL 2022 video game, as well as having future employment and potential endorsements damaged.Since no judgement has been made or settled between the parties, I feel as if he continues to push the issue
