They are “skills needed to participate effectively in information technology decisions” and “people and technology work together.” Thus, this section provides an overview of the two topics, emphasizing how I related to the topics, and how the topics will enable me to be a better and more effective IS professional.The first topic is “people and technology work together.” Here, the major point is that managers should understand how to mesh people and technology to allow effective work processes (Pearlson & Saunders, 2013).
