The civil war abolished any kind of discrimination even in the slightest form .This is the legacy we have inherited and we believe that we not only treat all people equally and abhor any kind of discrimination .It cannot be denied that in a country like ours which is a melting point of culture there are bound to be issues concerning differences in acceptance of culture and this finds itself into the media and gets wrong attention .We are a great country and have come to the aid of all social issues that plague many countries of the world especially those that are still backward are supported by us in their most crucial sectors of food clothing and shelter and the presence of American aid in all these countries has been acknowledged as being very humanitarian and life saving.
