This is a pair of laws that aimed at banning abortion at all stages. There are no exceptions even if the pregnancy was a result of incest or rape. The only narrow exception is when the pregnancy endangers the pregnant woman’s health. There are also tough penalties set for doctors and other providers who aid abortion attempts at any stage of pregnancy (Cohen et al, 1473). Abortion is defined as the intentional termination of pregnancy. According to an article by Everyday Health, one in every four women who get pregnant commit an abortion before the age of 45 (Par 2). Abortion can be either surgical abortion or medical abortion. Medical abortion is done by taking pills that help to end a pregnancy. A surgical abortion is when surgery is conducted and the pregnancy tissue is removed from the woman’s womb (Everyday Health, par 7, 14). Whatever the reason, I strongly support the texas law that banned abortion as I believe that abortion is a termination of life and no country
