Cybercrime can be defined as the illegal activities targeting to exploit vulnerabilities existing in computer programs, the internet and electronic information systems. It aims at illicitly gaining access and attacking information databases, and disrupting services on computers owned by the government, business organizations and domestic consumers. Cybercrime is therefore crime perpetrated on cyberspace.
