Recently, a few customers have been complaining that our bottles have been appearing to contain less volume than we advertise them for, which is also stated on our bottles themselves (16 oz). My boss was notified of this issue and asked me to solve this problem after investigating, if indeed, there was an issue. I started my investigation with having 30 random bottles pulled from the production line, as we run three shifts a day I had 10 pulled from each shift. As each team member from my shifts pulled a bottle I had them measure the volume on the spot before sending them to me to re-measure.
