Earthquake is an unpredictable natural phenomenon which happens suddenly and cannot stop it, but can be alerted from it late shifting. Earthquakes are a significant problem in the Philippines due to the country's location on the Pacific "Ring of Fire," a region with high seismic activity. To address the issue, the researchers built a prototype that provides early warning through Short Message Service (SMS) to the public in the event of an earthquake occurrence. This study aimed to design a system which can provide protection and preparedness for the sudden earthquakes. This study is beneficial to the community by imposing preparedness.
