Week 5 case study: Encryption and Decryption Security Report week 5Computing sec280 DATE \@ "MMMM d, yyyy" October 27, 2013Week 5 case study In regards to the recent break in of our company, I would like to address the situation in this letter now. I feel that one of our biggest issues in on-site security is the routers. All of our routers must have at least wpa2 enterprise encryption and the password MUST be longer including large and small letters, numbers, and preferably some special characters. That it makes it NOT worth the time to break in. If the attacks persist we may need to start thinking about changing the password every month or so. I would also like to address the stolen information that has been compromised. While the damage is not fully clear to us at this time I feel we need to start and should have already been using some encryption method to make sure that even if data is stolen it cannot be used without great effort and maybe totally impossible. Some of them we may consider are: - AES 256 bits,- Triple AES
