There is no doubt that we are living in a highly technological world where anything can be possible by just one click. There is no doubt that these technologies have reduced our manual work and make our life very easy. But at workplace, if these technologies are not regulated properly, it creates problems for the employees. Technology is creating the main issue related to the privacy of the employees. For example – Employer is using the advanced technology for monitoring the communication of the employees with their customers, suppliers or any other outside person by tracking their computers, phone calls and by tracking them also through their phones and social media cites. Sometimes, it create problem for the employees and it results in their firing also. But I think that the monitoring should be in proper ethical way without creating harm for their privacy. So there should be policies that must address the issues and it needs to be communicated to the employees in proper way. Now days, It is not only important but it is mandatory for specific firms to have drug –free workplace from the health and safety point of view of the employees.
