To solve a problem, the learners need to acquire information from the interaction they have with their instructors. The interaction extends to their peers and the course materials. Educators need to evaluate the situation they are in terms of identifying the materials they have, the problems to try and solve, and the potential of the learners. Learning about direct teaching methods has helped me understand these situations and the choice made by educators. The choice of direct teaching methods is due to its effectiveness. It is also backed by behaviorism theory that suggests that conditions play a part in the learning of students. Behaviorism adoption in education is because it focuses on the objectives. It is disregarded if mental activities or capabilities encourage the teacher to believe that their use of behavioral patterns repeatedly will aid in achieving the intended target.
