While it is difficult to determine what is a myth and what is reality within the criminal justice and juvenile justice system we as a society need to be able to determine in our own minds what is a crime and what is not a crime. Members of society define crime in a variety of ways, whether it is murder or stealing things from your company both of which are crimes but one more serious than the other, but should stealing things from your company be enough to get you locked up for theft?
