Each paradigm has a unique set of fundamental assumptions, which, in turn, influence how we diagnose and treat psychological disorders.Evidence-Based Research: Abandoning clinical judgment in favor of evidence-based research is a significant shift in modern psychology. Clinical judgment alone is often no more accurate than chance and can be influenced by various biases. Ignoring factual evidence in favor of political correctness can have far-reaching consequences. As they say, "Everyone can have an opinion, but that doesn't necessarily mean that every opinion is correct." In essence, a paradigm is like an opinion, but it should be
