From the age of birth to 3 years old, critical connections are happening in the brain for children. Children who have access to early childhood education are more likely to succeed through elementary and high school if they are exposed to early childhood education. There are many positive outcomes when children are exposed to early childhood education. The most valuable outcome is when children are a part of early childhood programs, they enter kindergarten on track. Kindergarten requirements have changed over the years, so to prepare our children, we need to expose them to learning activities earlier than later. 40% of children who start school behind their peers are most likely to stay behind them on the in the long run. In early childhood programs there are systems that track the learning gains of the child. In those same systems, teachers can see what a child needs more support with whether it may be cognitively, language or social emotional and support
