Business Communication Letters Worksheet

For the assignment, I chose two business communications that I had to present. Since these were business communications, they were both formal. However, the audiences of these communications were vastly different so there were different levels of formality used within the communications. The first communication was a letter to potential customers for a bumper protection. These customers were retail stores and distributors. These were people that had expressed interest in carrying the product and the letter was a follow-up. It was a mostly formal letter but there was some informality placed within the letter including purposeful contractions due to the fact that many experts believe that contractions are informal and therefore unprofessional.
