Generation Y People at WorkplaceGeneration Y people are known as Millennial, and echo boomers. In general, the population group of generation Y is born between 1976 to 2000 and this is the reason that the people of this generation are in their teens or twenties and are very different from others. The people of this generation are known as internet generation also because the people are most dependent on the technologies and can do anything very fast in less time with the help of internet and other advanced technologies. These types of people are very arrogant and have high expectations from others. They do not like the job as their parents do from 9 to 5. These people are very family centric and this is the reason that they do not believe to stay in office for long working hours. They want flexible work timings with one or two days off and a research has found that generation Y people like to spend their 30 % to 70 % time at their homes. They do not hesitate to ask anything, it something is unclear. It is considered that they show the attitude of dissatisfaction and disengagement towards work.
