Women Education in sciences ,in the 19th and 20th centuries. Over the past several centuries we have a seen a change in the emergence of more women into the light of scientific recognition, and more than ever along the way we saw more women holding more doctorate and degrees in sciences than most men had. Specifically during the 19th century and half of the 20th century, there was a rise in women education, beating the odds like culture dictation and recognition that was initially in place. There are several books that have evidently shown how women came up to be known as scholars in the field of science and earned more respect than they ever did. Most of the motivations behind their involvement was from a push by the societies and institutions that were specifically built to advance women education, colleges offered education to more women and helped them advance too. “Science Education for Women in Antebellum America “by Deborah Warner is one of such books that presents justification of women were pushed into the limelight by institutions who encouraged them to take up such high places because it was good for
