After the rebellion's destruction, many historians have written numerous articles and books regarding personal experiences and every piece of information about the Boxers. Similarly, many theories arose regarding the origin of the war in China. However, the majority of historians have always blamed Empress Cixi for the Chinese crisis. Empress Cixi was the ruler of the famous Chinese Qing dynasty. Despite the numerous information from the primary sources, it doesn't remain easy to describe the whole scenario and the series of events in the most accurate way. On that account, this paper will analyze information regarding the Boxer uprising, how the Eight-Nation Alliance achieved the destruction of the rebellion, and the consequences that accompanied their brutal actions. It will analyze various primary and secondary sources to derive the relevant information regarding the Boxer uprising era in China in the late nineteenth century and early twentieth century.Historical analysisThe Boxer Uprising was an equipped and ferocious xenophobic and anti-Christian rebellion from 1899 and 1902 in China.
