I asked eight questions in total which I completed over the phone with her, as I know she is extremely busy especially around this time of year. I did not know much about the education processes of special needs students, and most definitely not whatall went into the role of a teacher who works closely with those students. For example, I didnt know how many other teachers they would work with or how closely they would work with parents. A normal guidance counselor rarely has meetings with parents unless necessary for behavioral issues, whereas a teacher of ESE students constantly has meetings with parents, teachers and other school personnel. I also didnt realize how many different techniques can be used in order to ease the process of including special needs students into mainstream classrooms.Before I honestly believed that it would just be overall
