Recent data indicates a significant rise in divorce rates, with nearly 7000 cases reported previously and a subsequent increase of 22.5% to 8580 cases in the year 2017. Notably, North Lebanon has recorded the highest number of divorces, followed by Beirut. When a couple gets divorced in Lebanon, the things that happen are just like what happens in any divorce. The stipulations of a divorce in Lebanon are subject to the regulations, religious principles, and societal norms
