The Corporate culture came into prominence only in 1970s and 80s. A.A. Kennedy and T.A. Deal have dealt with this subject in their book Corporate Cultures The Rites and Rituals of Corporate Life(Lang). Formerly corporate culture was not accorded the importance due to it and it came into limelight only some years ago. Managements of even large organizations did not give much importance to the same. The Corporate culture can be defined as a set of rules, practices and regulations formal and informal, written and unwritten. The influence of a corporate culture on the employees performance and attitude was slowly acknowledged and many organizations have begun to create and incorporate a good corporate culture in their offices so as to increase both job satisfaction and also productivity. In fact, the companies which focused on technical issues alone began to pay attention to the corporate culture that is important for the companies survival in the long run. After all, technology alone cannot
