The culture of pain management in the National Football League (NFL) is potentially predisposing athletes to a considerably inhibited future and thralls of addiction. The documented amount of pills (number of milligrams) players consume on a given day is staggering and is suggestive of inhibited psychosocial and behavioral effects.
