These concepts can be applied to situations in everyday life and work in many ways. I have a better understanding of how thermodynamics work (something I knew nothing about before) I am currently a health safety and environmental manager so knowing this as well as some of the information I learned about newtons laws can help me with Lock out tag out programs, hot work, electrical safety, and environmental safety. I knew nothing about, or had I ever heard about space weather so that was something very interesting to me and I spent much time reading about it. Something that really sparked my attention was that the northern lights can be seen thousands of miles away during a large space weather event. Very good information and the course kept my attention.
