I am writing to inform you about the vital issues affecting nursing in our State. I have conducted extensive research and established that understaffing is a major problem of nurses. Most healthcare facilities have fewer nurses causing inadequate health care and death of patients. Understaffing limits their efficiency as it makes them rush when offering their care, consequently making mistakes. Understaffing exposes nurses to risky situations that can see them lose their jobs. Nurses are also emotionally affected when they have too much work to do. Most medical facilities lack adequate resources to help them curb the problem of understaffing. The government can establish programs to assist these institutions in acquiring more nurses. Additionally, the state can embark on deploying more nurses to the public hospitals in the country. Equal distribution of resources across states can make it easier to handle the problems
