AbstractThe airport security has been called the fundamental political and security institution; and the security process is one of the most important roles for community, delineating between inside and outside, us and them, safe and dangerous, known and unknown. Airports represent both an appeal to the limits in politics and of political community, and a technology of limits – a means of defining what is possible in the governing of life itself. Yet, even as airport security management has taken on a renewed emphasis for policy makers, assessing the security is most concern for the Governments worldwide. This paper focuses on the airport security, its concerns and new technologies to tackle the rising terrorism and loss of human life and resources. The paper first describes the meaning of airport security and then slowly explains various technologies to handle the security. It then explains in detail the role of MALINTENT technology as a future to airport security. With this technology there is no need of regular scans, but officials can keep a point of scanning without knowing the passengers. The technology is linked to magnetic fields and biometric scanning from distances. IntroductionAirport SecurityAirport security
