It is proposed to think about the personality, the peculiarities of the environment of the prince, and the basis of his policy with the help of the following approaches - historical, sociological, and personal. The article describes why correctly these approaches can be applied to the treatise and are excerpts from the Prince. The same article is based on the proof that the treatise represents the image of an absolute ruler who wants to maximize his power. The treatise "The Prince" was published after the author's death, although it was written back in 1513, when Machiavelli, who was removed from recent political life, was actively rethinking it. First of all, Machiavelli touched the question of the features of the image of an ideal male ruler.
