In the 1-11 millennium BC. rose and strengthened Egypt, Persia, Macedonia, the Roman Empire, China. In all these countries, too, had their controversial traditions, cults of force, whose population was brought up in constant readiness for violent and aggressive campaigns. However, only the ancient Greek society managed to create a real system of physical culture (multiple initial physical training, agonism, a system of regular competitions, a network of stadiums and "palestres" - particular educational institutions), the top of which became the Olympic Games. In Greece, the military factor influenced it quite significantly: the weak with body and spirit could not withstand numerous hostile attacks.
