Getting bullied in school is one of the most depressing experiences for learners. School environment becomes unconducive, and learners are unable to concentrate. This emotional stress can have adverse effects on learners’ grades. Various efforts have been put in place to tackle the issue of bullying in the school system. One of them is passing state laws illegalizing bullying. According to Suski (2016), all the states in the US have anti-bullying laws. Despite these efforts, bullying is a growing concern in many schools. It, therefore, behooves everyone to play their role effectively in dealing with this vice. Teachers have a role in protecting learners from bullies and are crucial to addressing the problem. Since bullying is still a significant challenge within the school
