Hi everyone, My name is Ayalon Mauda, and I am 45-years-old. I live in upstate New York with my wife and our four beautiful little children. Ever since I can remember, I have always been drawn to help people during hardships in their lives. After my undergraduate studies, I applied for a case manager job in an institution for special needs adults. At the age of 25, I got a chance together with my wife to serve as Home parents for ten adults in a local home institution for persons with special needs. We did so for over a decade.I applied for my Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling at the University of Bellevue where after graduating, I managed to open a private clinic. The last 2 years have proven to be quite a challenge given the COVID-19 pandemic. Fortunately, it provided me with an alternative way of conducting my business online. I currently provide treatment services through Zoom.It has always been my desire to resume schooling, but my many commitments made me think that I would not be able to.
