Executive summary The strategic analysis of the Toyota Motor Corporation and its performance is going to be conducted in this paper. The main aim of such strategic analysis is to define the companys competitive advantages, the companys weaknesses and possible threats and also to provide recommendations for the company of how to improve its current positions and what strategic way to choose to keep the leading positions on the worlds market. To realize this aim we, first of all, analyze the main features of the global market of automobiles. As we will see, this market is now experiencing not the best times. The reason for it is quite simple and clear the global financial crisis that has reduced demand on the industrys products. However, we believe that the worlds market still has a great potential for growth. However, the analyzed company should realize that it has to change its geographical priority. We mean that the company should explore new markets. The reason for it is that the degree of competition on the Asian market, that provides about 40 of the companys revenues, will only grow.
