The spreading of news about a new respiratory disease from Wuhan in China seemed containable to many based on technological advancement and scientific discoveries. Nobody realized that the globe was approaching a natural experiment. What followed in the next three months left everyone perplexed as nature was in control of everything. To be specific, everything, including science and technology, was brought to a standstill. Therefore, the natural experiment refers to an event or intervention that surpasses the control of a researcher in which people in the society may be categorized into exposed or unexposed sets. In an attempt to counter the spread of Covid-19, lockdown became the most urgent solution to protect the health of the citizens allowing people to remain in their local regions. Therefore, we ask ourselves; how did lockdown contribute toward the protection of human health? <span
