I think “ownership” is taking responsibility for something you've caused/created, and to “take ownership” involves you being in control and being proactive in your work. This involves working hard, asking questions, taking notes and accepting when you need assistance. This can also be labeled “active learning”. On the other hand, “Passive learning is when the learners acquire knowledge without making any conscious efforts” (Shurbi, S. 2021). Passive learning is an original form of learning, where students listen in classes and teachers pass on their knowledge.
