Hence, I conducted an interview with the clinic’s nurse leader because the leader has extensive experience in healthcare finance and has dealt with both operations and capital budget. The interview is crucial because it will help and offer deeper insights into the budgeting process and the leader’s approach to budget management. The paper analyzes the mentor interview and their experience with managing capital and operating budget in a healthcare setting. The interview focused on the leader’s experience with the budgeting process. In this regard, I explored the leader’s experience in managing operating budget and how the leader managed productivity within the budget parameters. In addition, I explored how they approach oversight concerning appropriate utilization and availability of supplies and equipment. Although I was required to prepare the operational budget I also enquired about their experience about capital budgets to get a holistic overview of the budget process. In this regard, I included their experiences in managing
