The Breakthrough of the CivilizationAs time goes by, geniuses are born and are creating a breakthrough that is dedicated to humankind. They managed to unfold the mysteries of the universe and exposed the truth about the flawed theory they once believed. Many names are listed in the history book because of their great contribution to different fields. One of them was Nicolaus Copernicus and his groundbreaking revelation that changed the perspective of the ancient people about the centre of the universe. The heliocentric model was first introduced by Aristarchus, but the revolution started with the publication of Nicolaus Copernicus’s De revolutionibus orbium coelestium (On the Revolutions of the Heavenly Spheres) in 1543 when the sun as the centre of the universe is detailed as a theory. Galileo, on his discovery of telescopes, observed the phases of Venus and that moons orbit Jupiter disproving the geocentric view. Johannes Kepler also contributed a series of laws that describe how planets orbit. The complete closure of the geocentric view was done by Newton, about Kepler's law explaining the laws of motion and why the Earth and other celestial bodies behave that way, gravity.
