Tradition and TechnologyTradition is like the flow of certainpractices from distant past thatreceives both acquiescence as well asacceptability among social beings,without much grumble or grouse, eventhough it may not be fully free from thedust of many a flaw that might have creptinto it without people ever realising orresisting. Technology, on the otherhand, too has its roots in the past, but notbased on some hearsay or puerileperception. It is a result of constantquestioning and experimentation that wecall scientific study. On the face of facts, itseems that tradition does not obey thedictates of reason or analysis, whereastechnology is trash if it is not put to theseverest of tests that aim at proving itinfallible and innovative. It may soundstrange to see both tradition andtechnology as foes and friends of eachother. Tradition-ridden as most of us are,it rules the roost without beingchallenged.
