Many have come up with various theories in order to explain the reasons individuals engage in criminal activities. However, in taking into account all the theoretical explanations of various theorists, biological theory simply indicate that the criminal aspect in individuals are usually inherited or develop as a result of causal factors that affect specific group of people (Akers, 2013, p. 46). Thus the affected individuals tend to exhibit inferiority in their mental and physical aspect which causes inability to learn or follow rules (Akers, 2013, p. 46). The inability to learn automatically causes inability to be knowledgeable and poor education. According to the social problems perspective, poor education is one of the many social factors that drive individuals to commit crime. On the other hand, inability to follow rules is a choice because rules are always straight forward.
