Green Computing Name Institution Abstract The field of green computing is an emerging field of the Information Communication Technology (ICT) focused on the adoption of environmentally friendly and sustainable technologies and approaches in the process of developing IT solutions for the world. With the ever growing computer technology needs, the processes involved in their manufacture, use and disposal of unwanted devices have attracted concerns from environmentalists and other interest groups for their potentially harmful negative consequences on the environment and sustainability. As such, green computing is the solution towards the adoption of technologies and processes, which do not contribute to environmental, economic and social un-sustainability.
