Therefore, the audience include people interested in knowing about the topic of teenage drinking. Thesis of the speech is clear. The speaker claims that “it is a fact that underage drinking leads to addiction”. This thesis statement is arguable. The speaker supports the claims of her thesis using data and examples to persuade the audience to adopt her position on the subject. The type of speech delivery is memorised (Adler et al., 2020). The speaker does not read the words directly from a manuscript. Neither is she referring to notes. As such, it is neither a manuscript nor is she doing extemporaneous speaking. It can also be argued that she is not delivering an impromptu speaking, since she has researched the topic and even prepared visuals to aid her in convincing the audience. As such, it is a memorised speech as the audience can assume that she is not reading or referring to any notes. However,
