Finding Primary SourcesDescribe your overall experience of locating these primary sources. Was it challenging or straightforward? Did you learn anything interesting along the way?The overall search experience was thought provoking because the search required one to refine the search as much as possible in order to access the primary source. Locating the primary sources is challenging and requires a lot of thought to be put into the search words. I have learnt that the digital repository of primary sources is like a forest made of millions of documents. To locate a single document is almost like locating a single tree in a forest. A historian searching for a primary source has to be both patient and persistent in trying various combinations of search words.Initially the search returned many of sources and after skimming the top sources by their titles, many were not relevant and only came because of one or two words that were contained in the search words.
