LP8 Assignment: Informative AbstractModern-day robotics has come to play essential and widespread role in the workplace, in the process, robots and artificial intelligence have dramatically altered the workplace environment. Robotics has consistently changed people’s lives in many spheres of life and robotics technology has received increased attention. Surprisingly, the impact of robotics in the workplace has received very little attention so far. A cross-sectional survey of research respondents using open-ended questionnaires for data collection is employed in this research.Using qualitative research methods, we explore the impact of robotics in the workplace by identifying education and skills needed to fit in a robotized work environment, the implications of a shift from the current human centered to machine centered work environment, and the impact of artificial intelligence and robotics on the structure of work. This research find that robotic and artificial intelligence have appositive impact on the workplace by performing monotonous tasks and substituting expensive human labor. The skills required for work in a robotized environment will change as firms will demand highly specialized job specific skills instead of higher levels. In addition, many professions will be replaced by artificial intelligence. Organizations will need to make a shift towards critical and
